What should we call Senate House?

Closed 5 Feb 2019

Opened 30 Jan 2019

Overview

Senate House is changing. Students have asked for dedicated space for learning, support and social activities and we've listened to what you say you need.

As the building becomes the home for students on campus, you can decide its new name.  So, tell us what you think the building should be called.

You can take part in drop-in events, at a naming workshop or online in February. Visit bristol.ac.uk/campus-heart to find out how to get involved.

The names generated and shortlisted by students will be taken to the Campus Heart Programme Board and the new name will be announced at the end of March. Keep a watch out for the change!

What Happens Next

Thank you for getting involved, and giving us your ideas for a new name Senate House! You are now part of a process that'll involve three stages. We're inviting students to be involved in all three -

  • Name generation - Come up with lots of great name suggestions.

  • Shortlisting - Help us shortlist what students have sent in.

  • Selection - Pick your favourite new name for Senate House.

We'll be in touch to invite you for the shortlisting stage very soon.
